Darun-Na'im Montessori School gives young children a warm, prepared environment to explore, question and grow — guided by Montessori principles and rooted in Islamic values, right here in Wynberg.
Our Programmes
Each classroom is thoughtfully arranged so children can move, choose and learn at their own pace — with warmth, structure and Islamic values woven through the day.
A soft landing away from home, where little ones build independence through movement, language and gentle daily rhythms.
Our core Montessori classroom, where children choose purposeful, hands-on work across practical life, sensorial, language and maths.
A calm extension to the school day for working parents, with homework support, quiet play and enrichment activities.

Our Foundation
Darun-Na'im Montessori School was built on a simple belief: that young children flourish when they are trusted, respected and given a calm, prepared space to discover the world for themselves.
Situated in Wynberg, Cape Town, our classrooms bring together the Montessori method — hands-on learning, independence and respect for each child's pace — with the everyday practice of Islamic values, adab and remembrance.
Every family who walks through our doors is welcomed as part of a wider community — one that includes current parents, new families still deciding, and the donors and sponsors whose generosity helps us keep our doors open to those who need it most.
Child-led, hands-on Montessori learning within a calm, orderly environment prepared for independence.
Islamic character and adab are part of daily life — in how we speak, share and care for one another.
A small, close-knit school where every parent is known by name and every child is known by heart.
Who Guides Us
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Faaiqah leads Darun-Na'im with a steady, nurturing hand — shaping a school where every child is seen, encouraged and gently challenged to grow.
As Ameer of the school, Moulana Allie Goder provides spiritual guidance and oversight, ensuring that Islamic values remain at the heart of how Darun-Na'im teaches and cares for its children.
